Jung Yerim, Lee Da-yeon, Lim Kyu-ri, Park Sung-jin compete in Hangzhou AG Women’s 3-on-3 Basketball

The roster for the women’s 3-on-3 basketball team at the Hangzhou Asian Games in September has been finalized.

The Korea Women’s Basketball League (WKBL) announced on Friday that Jung Yerim (Hana OneQ), Lee Da-yeon (Shinhan Bank), Lim Gyu-ri (Samsung Life Insurance) and Park Sung-jin (BNK) will compete in the women’s 3-on-3 basketball at the Hangzhou Asian Games.

The team will begin training at the Jincheon Athletes’ Village on Sept. 16, and will gain experience at the 2023 Shinhan Bank SOL 3-on-3 Triple Jam on Sept. 24-25 at the Times Square Atrium Center in Yeongdeungpo-gu, Seoul.

Six WKBL clubs will also participate in the triple jam, including Park So-hee (Hana OneQ), the 2022-2023 WKBL Rookie of the Year, and Kang Yoo-rim (Samsung Life), who won the Most Improved Player (MIP) award.

Lim Gyu-ri

A total of 13 teams will participate in the tournament, including seven domestic teams and six overseas teams (four countries), including six WKBL clubs and the Korea Women’s National Team. Japan will be represented by Kiki Miyashita (Toyota Antelopes), who competed at the 2018 Jakarta-Palembang Asian Games. Singapore’s Kang Yi Tan (Jumpshots) competed in the 3-on-3 Asia Cup in March this year, while the Philippines’ Katrina Guitingco (Titans) represented her country in 3-on-3 at last year’s Asia Cup.
