Women’s national soccer team’s central defender Lim Seon-joo (33) 먹튀검증 became the seventh Korean female player to join the Century Club.
Lim Seon-joo started and played full-time in the first leg of the Arnold Clark Cup against England held at the MK Stadium in Milton Keynes, England on the 17th (Korean time).
Im Seon-joo, who made her national team debut in 2009, achieved her Century Club in 14 years. The Century Club is a symbolic meeting in which players who have participated in more than 100 matches in A-matches certified by the International Football Federation are named. It is the 7th Korean female player after Cho So-hyun, Ji So-yeon, Kim Jeong-mi, Kim Hye-ri, Kwon Ha-neul, and Jeon Ga-eul.
Lim Seon-joo participated in the Asian Cup and Asian Games as a central defender and was named twice in the Women’s World Cup. She does, but she has no experience in the World Cup finals.
She cited the 2014 Incheon Asian Games and the 2018 Jakarta-Palembang Asian Games as her most memorable matches. Lim Seon-joo suffered the loss of her team due to her mistakes in her second Asian Games semi-final.
In an interview with the Korea Football Association, Lim Seon-joo said, “There were many difficult moments, but I feel new because I achieved 100 games.” .
Regarding the defeat against England, Seon-joo Lim said, “It’s unfortunate that we lost today’s game against England, but I think it was an opportunity for her to learn many things ahead of the World Cup.”
