Woori Card and KB Insurance made a one-for-one trade.
KB Insurance officially announced, “We sent outside hitter Han Sung-jung to Woori Card and received setter Hwang Seung-bin in a one-for-one trade.”
Hwang Seung-bin was drafted by Korean Air with the fifth pick in the first round of the 2014-2015 season and played for Samsung Fire and Woori Card before moving to KB Insurance. Han Sung-jeong was drafted by Woori Card in the first round of the 2017-2018 season and moved to KB Insurance, and through this trade, he will be able to wear the uniform of his hometown team again.
Scratching each other’s itches KB Insurance lost its main setter Hwang Taek-ui to the Armed Forces Athletic Corps (Commerce). They had a gap in the setter position, and by signing Hwang Seung-bin, they were able to ease the pain.
The same goes for Woori Card. Main outside hitter Na Kyung-bok became a free agent and moved to KB Insurance, and the return of Han Sung-jung will add strength to the offense.
“We made the trade to strengthen the positions we need in preparation for the 2023-2024 season,” said KB Insurance head coach Hoo In-jung and Woori Card head coach Shin Young-cheol. “We are grateful to the players for their dedication to the team so far, and look forward to seeing them in their new teams without injury.”안전놀이터
