Short track speed skating team including Choi Min-jung passed the qualifiers for all events of the 5th ISU World Cup

 The Korean short-track team, including ‘Short Track Ace’ Choi Min-jeong (Seongnam City Hall), passed the preliminary rounds in all events of the 5th World Cup of the International Skating Union (ISU).

On the first day of the 5th ISU Short Track World Cup 2022-2023 season held in Dresden, Germany on the 3rd (local time), Choi Min-jung easily passed the women’s 1,500m first race quarterfinals and 500m qualifiers.

Choi Min-jung took 1st place in Group 5 with a time of 2:27.759 in the quarterfinals of the 1500m race. She also landed in the quarterfinals in the women’s 300m in the first heat, where she finished with a time of 43.405 and in the second heat, she finished with a time of 43.510, respectively, to top the group. 토토사이트

Kim Kun-hee (Dankook University) and Kim Gili (Seo Hyeon-go), who competed together, passed the preliminary rounds in the first and second women’s 1500m races, while Seo Hwi-min (Korea University) and Lee So-yeon (Sports Toto) advanced to the next round in the 500m and 1000m. Shim Seok-hee (Seoul City Hall) also passed the women’s 1000m preliminaries and the quarterfinals of the 1500m second race without incident.

Kim Tae-seong (Dankook University), Park Ji-won (Seoul City Hall), and Lee Dong-hyeon (Uijeongbu Kwangdong High School) all took first place in their respective groups in the men’s 1,000m first and second heats.

Hong Kyung-hwan, Lim Yong-jin (Goyang City Hall) and Lee Jun-seo (Korea National Sport University), who competed in the first 1,500m race, advanced to the semifinals.
