From 2011 to 2014, Lee Soo-min, who was active as the national ace, drew attention by winning the Korean Tour Gunsan CC Open as an amateur in 2013. After his professional debut, Lee Soo-min won the Gunsan CC Open again in 2015, the rookie season, and won the rookie award (Myeongchulsang) that year.

Afterwards, in 2016, he won the European Tour (now DP World Tour) Shenzhen International Championship, and in 2019, he won the Hyundai Marine & Fire Insurance Choi Gyeong-ju Invitational and won the Genesis Prize Money King. Even in 2020, before his military enlistment, he won the KPGA Open with Solago CC. He enlisted in April 2021 and served as a social service agent at the Daegwallyeong Reserve Army Myeondae.
